By reading FluxAnvil you accept the terms below. They are deliberately short, because the site is a bench notebook rather than a service.
Information only, no professional advice
Every card describes one technique as performed on a bench. This is workshop information, not engineering advice and not a compliance opinion. Parameters depend on your board, your alloy, your flux, your ambient temperature and your tooling. A tip temperature that works on a 1.6 mm two-layer board will not work on a 2.4 mm board with an internal plane. You are responsible for validating any parameter before applying it to your own work.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. No warranty is given that the content is accurate, complete or current, or that following it will produce a particular result.
Safety and your own responsibility
Soldering involves molten metal at 180 to 245 °C, tooling that idles at 300 to 400 °C, flux chemistries that are respiratory and skin sensitisers, and in some techniques lead-bearing alloys. Fume extraction, eye protection, thermal protection and waste handling are your responsibility, as is compliance with any workplace, electrical or environmental regulation that applies to you. FluxAnvil does not supervise your bench and cannot.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, FluxAnvil and its authors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of this site or from reliance on its content, including damage to equipment, boards, products or property, and including loss of profit or business interruption.
Intellectual property
The text, the technique cards and the generated section drawings are the property of FluxAnvil unless otherwise stated. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link to the card you took them from. You may not republish cards in full, resell them, or use them as the basis of a paid course or dataset without written permission.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape the site in a way that degrades service for other readers, do not attempt to inject content through any query parameter, and do not present its content as your own.
